Sigh.......

wow. what a week its been and its just now heading into Tuesday. so i guess my sister is getting married......yes, thats right M-A-R-R-I-E-D....and i am definately not prepared to handle this. all of these speeches my mom's been giving the past two years are starting to make a little sense - not a lot, but i can see where she is coming from. im the maid of honor and i wont even be at her bridal shower...nor will i be planning it.......because im in philly during the summer going to school. and let me tell you that school is so not important compared to spending the last single days with my sister...being a good maid of honor. but Drexel is all consuming and a bit on the greedy side when it comes to time and energy, so im stuck.

sorry for the rambling...im just really caught off guard with all of this. i mean, i knew eventually it would happen, but now? its a good thing God knows what He's doing, because im quite sure the rest of us dont.

I just have to say...this was totally worth taking the time to update Xanga for. Not to brag, but to share how amazing our God is....that even when I am totallllllyy discouraged to the point of giving up, convinced that what I am doing is so unsuccessful, He sends along just the right thing to make me realize that even if I don't know it, He is using me to make an impact. Check it out:
(I'm a writing tutor and this is from the prof of the class I'm tutoring...)

Hi Tiffany,

I just finished going over the students' essays and reviewing your comments to them.  I just want you to know I think you've done a fantastic job.  Your comments were helpful, and I very much appreciate how carefully and thoughtfully you used the checklist I provided.  I can see the effect you have had on the students' work from one draft to another and have told some of them how much I think you helped.

Thank you.
